The Lafarge Abbotsford International, set to take place on Tuesday, June 16th, 2009, promises to be a top meet. As part of the PacificCanada Series of meets, the Lafarge Abbotsford International will tap into the high level of athletic talent that will be in the area to present what will no doubt be a meet to be remembered.

The Facility for the Lafarge Abbotsford International is the Jane & Gerry Swan Track at Rotary Stadium Complex in Abbotsford, an International Level calibre facility that has hosted many prestigious events and a facility that is designed to be conducive to fast times and strong performances.

ENTRIES FOR THE 2009 LAFARGE INTERNATIONAL TRACK CLASSIC ARE NOW CLOSED.


PLEASE NOTE: As of June 7th, 2009, a men's javelin event has been added. There will be no prize money for this event.

PLEASE NOTE: INFORMATION FOR ATHLETES ATTENDING THE PACIFIC-CANADA SERIES:

A bus will transport athletes from the Richmond Hotel to Abbotsford on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 16 for the Lafarge meet in Abbotsford.

At the completion of the meet, the bus will take the athletes to site of the post meet reception where a dinner will be served. At approximately 11:00 p.m. the bus will then transport athletes back to the Richmond hotel.

There is no cost for the bus or the post meet reception.

The PacifiCanada Track and Field Series provides international and Olympic level competition for track and field athletes. The track series is situated on Canada’s beautiful West Coast and will be held in four different cities in the province of British Columbia. Athletes will compete for cash prizes awarded to the overall series winners.
