A bus will be provided for transportation from Abbotsford to the Victoria Ferry on Wednesday morning. The bus will leave the Best Western Bakerview at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18 to arrive at the ferry in plenty of time to connect with the 11:00 a.m. ferry for Victoria.
A representative of the Victoria meet will be in Abbotsford to communicate with those athletes planning to compete in the Victoria meet. This representative will be able to distribute ferry tolls to invited athletes.
The Lafarge Abbotsford International, set to take place on Tuesday, June 17th, 2008, promises to be a top meet. As part of the PacificCanada Series of meets, the Lafarge Abbotsford International will tap into the high level of athletic talent that will be in the area to present what will no doubt be a meet to be remembered.
The Facility for the Lafarge Abbotsford International is the Jane & Gerry Swan Track at Rotary Stadium Complex in Abbotsford, an International Level calibre facility that has hosted many prestigious events and a facility that is designed to be conducive to fast times and strong performances.
